It's All About The Fry Bread


Indian Fry Bread

1 pkg yeast
1 cup of Luke warm water
1 Egg

1 Cup of Luke warm Milk

1 tsp. baking powder...
1/4 cup sugar...
.1 1/4 tsp salt...
5 1/2 cups flour.
Dissolve yeast in the 1 cup of warm water, add egg, milk and sugar. Whip until foamy. Add flour, salt and baking powder and mix to a thick dough.
Cover and let stand for 15 mins. Roll out 1/4 in thick on a floured board then cut 4×4 inch squares. Fry in hot oil 400* to 500* degrees. Just till their a light golden and puffed up. Dough may be saved in a air tight container for up to 3 weeks and used as needed.
